Shopportunity is a Shop local customer engagement campaign that will encourage residents to support local businesses and services in the economic recovery process.

SHOP . EAT . PLAY  LOCAL  TO WIN

EVERY transaction at participating local retailers will give the shopper the opportunity to scan the code to be entered to win one of the multiple weekly prizes.

As part of the Shopportunity Campaign, you will receive a short promotional to be shared on your platform to let your audience know you are a #shopportunity merchant. Expect one of our videographers to pop into your business this month to ask you a couple of fun SHOP LOCAL questions.

#SHOPPORTUNITY will also consist of 5 festive mailboxes placed throughout key shopping areas in Chilliwack, inviting participants to write a letter to the Chilliwack Christmas Elves in hopes of winning something from their local wishlist. Letters will be drawn at random weekly for prizes.

The five Festive Mailbox locations will be:

1. District 1881- Woolly Dog Alley
2. Garrison Crossing- Waves
3. Eagle Landing- Cineplex area
4. Cottonwood Centre- By Santa’s workshop
5. Yarrow Farm Store
